This video doesn't actually link in with my concept, however I felt it was an incredible video to watch and actually got a little emotional, I absolutely loved what they were doing in order to create awareness of the disabled by making mannequins of the few bodies in this video.
I felt this massively relevant to this diversity project.
I thought it was quite similar to the fact that some high streets shops are introducing plus sized mannequins. I get that they're are bigger women out there - however we can all help our weight in some way, however a disabled person can not help the way they are, some are even born that way.
However, regardless of your size, race, hair colour, etc. everyone is diverse and this video absolutely portrayed that concept, I especially love the end of all the mannequins together "because who is perfect?" Who says so and so is perfect?
Our perception of perfect is manipulated by the media massively due to constant photoshoped images , and we are always seeing celebrities at their best.. but we must remember they are just normal people like us and have down days and 'ugly days'.
